Eva Marie Santiago has joined Lemay + Escobar as Head of Development, to expand and oversee the firm’s extensive business initiatives.
Lemay + Escobar’s already active design portfolio is poised to rapidly expand, given its new architectural practice and the addition of several design disciplines in 2018. In this context, Ms. Santiago’s brilliant and varied experience in technology, economic development, real estate and finance promises to drive key partnerships and leverage the power of prestigious brands.

Most recently, Ms. Santiago was the head of private client for Appear Here, a real estate tech start-up spanning London, Paris and New York: a role demanding cutting-edge technology expertise and initiative. She was also responsible for negotiating the first-ever “NFL Experience” in Times Square with the Witkoff Group representing the NFL and Cirque du Soleil.
Ms. Santiago spearheaded mixed-use acquisitions and leasing in NYC for Blackstone Group, and headed Economic and Business Development for Times Square. She was senior analyst for both former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and George Soros’ Open Society Institute. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a master’s degree from NYC’s New School University; she is a Woodrow Wilson Fellow.
