Award-winning Lemay partner Andrew King is an international design leader in both practice and scholarship. As LemayLAB co-lead, he stimulates creative thinking and new design models, with stellar results. He has led numerous interdisciplinary teams and training initiatives in architecture, art, exhibits, film and theatre.
Andrew spent the first decade of his career in Seville, Budapest, Berlin and London, where he completed a mentorship program with Zaha Hadid. He has since been published internationally and won a large number of design awards, including two Progressive Architecture Awards of Excellence from the American Institute of Architecture (2012) and a fellowship in the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the country’s highest award for individual architectural impact (2017). He holds a diploma in civil engineering, a degree in environmental design and a master of architecture.
