Jonathan Zane joined Escobar Lemay + Escobar in 2018 following six years directing multiple large-scale architectural projects across Asia for Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF)’s New York City and Hong Kong offices. He had previously worked as a project manager and designer for KPF on a number of prestigious Manhattan office towers and mixed-use projects.
From his close to 20 years as an architect, Jonathan has abundant New York City and international experience, including with other NYC-based firms – RMJM Hillier and Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates. Before joining Lemay + Escobar to launch the firm’s NYC office, he oversaw the redevelopment of 3 million square feet of waterfront as part of Hong Kong’s New World Centre, a retail-hotel-residential-office mixed-use development. In addition to his business acumen, Jonathan is known for his ability to mentor and grow junior to mid-level architectural teams. He has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
