Designing for new paradigms of luxury

Rising up from the heart of iconic Golden Square Mile neighborhood, the Four Seasons Hotel and Residence Montreal embodies elegant, classic luxury in one breathtaking complex featuring Lemay + Escobar’s contemporary design. Sharing an interwoven space with the city’s renowned Holt Renfrew Ogilvy’s luxury department store, this refined development heralds the return of the Four Seasons banner to Montreal and a rejuvenating force for the shopping district of the city’s bustling main thoroughfare of Sainte-Catherine Street.

Much like Montreal, this tower is a refined chemistry of work and play: The interior is comprised of delicately interwoven volumes dedicated to hospitality, residential and commercial vocations, where visitors can experience seamless passageways between grand public spaces like atriums and grand ballrooms, hotel rooms, and private residences. Outside, where an upper section of the tower unfolds outward to take in mountain and skyline view, a metallic bas-relief ribbon runs across the façade like a gold chain on the black dress of the structure’s dark veneer.
