Lemay + Escobar was mandated to produce a stylish new design platform for the Holiday Inn, starting with the hotel brand’s new downtown Brooklyn location. A departure from its traditional look, the four-star accommodation reflects and adds to the borough’s exciting transformation.

The distinctive lobby engages the visitor with its eclectic blend of classic and edgy elements, echoing the essence of Brooklyn itself: prism-shaped crystal chandeliers, abundant natural light, a recessed fireplace, a full-height water feature, natural touches such as living green walls and a fully landscaped, lobby-adjacent greenhouse; and a dramatic, custom-designed mosaic mural of the nearby Brooklyn Bridge.

Common areas offer both relaxation and stimulation of the senses. A dark azure pool, equipped with a waterfall and glass wall, overlooks the fitness center. The hotel also offers a 2,500-sq. ft. flexible meeting space, a business center and a 24-hour fitness center. Across 14 storeys and 245 guestrooms, Lemay + Escobar has designed spaces to appeal to an extremely broad range of travelers.
